Welcome!

Botelle School offers a variety of special services for students and families within the Norfolk community. Such services include speech and language therapy as well as social, emotional, and behavioral supports. Botelle is dedicated to providing services for all students and families and encourages parents/ gaurdians to contact our support staff with any questions or concerns they may have.

Mrs. Taddio screens and evaluates students in PreK through 6th grade to identify specific communication needs and determine the necessary interventions based on educational impact. Regular and special education speech and language services are provided to those students exhibiting a full range of communication disorders including language, articulation, fluency, and voice. Additionally, Mrs. Taddio performs yearly hearing screenings for students in grades K-3 and 5. Parents/ guardians are encouraged to contact Mrs. Taddio for additional speech and language concerns or questions.

Ms. Esposito provides a variety of programs and services to students and families in grades PreK through 6th grade. Such programs/ services include character enrichment activities in both the classroom and smaller group settings, short-term/long- term individual and group counseling, psycho-educational testing, and crisis response intervention. Additionally, Ms. Esposito works as Botelle's Special Education Coordinator, collaborating with children and families to develop special educational programming designed to address the specific needs of every child individually. Parents/ guardians are encouraged to contact Ms. Esposito with any questions or concerns they may have.

Mrs. Viens provides a variety of services to our school community, including individual and small group social skills training, classroom lessons promoting grade level social/emotional learning, and individual counseling for children who are coping with loss or adjusting to significant life events. Mrs. Viens also provides individual and small group lessons addressing anxiety, self- esteem, anger, and impulse control. She is available to collaborate with teaching staff and families to address behavioral, emotional, or environmental issues that are impacting a student's learning. Parents/ guardians are encouraged to contact Mrs. Viens when in need of community resources.
